Description of problem:
After installation of the package the extension is not active, even after restarting apache, and there is no README explaining what to do next.

I think the package should grow a new /etc/php.d/json.ini file to activate the extension after installation and possibly a graceful restart command for apache in postin and postun (if it's not already done)

Sorry for the lack of response here, this was fixed in a later update by the previous maintainer.
