Description Eric Sandeen 2009-02-12 20:13:33 UTC
The ext4 codebase for tech preview in RHEL5.3 was a very early cut, with now-known bugs and missing features. We should rebase ext4 to the upstream codebase for RHEL5.4.

It's hard to tell from this exactly which problem is being fixed, so, FWIW, Fedora 10, 2.6.27 (stock) kernel, 200G ext4 FS created by Anaconda. Create a 7G file, delete it: fsck.ext4 shows errors.

Comment 7 Eric Sandeen 2009-04-18 16:41:52 UTC
Geoff, this bug is just for a wholesale ext4 rebase in RHEL5.4. If you're having problems on Fedora 10 could you please file a new bug against F10? Feel free to assign it to me.

Thanks,
-Eric
