I've added a tiny patch which prints at least "Please ensure the 'nbd' module is loaded." in this case. Fixed in devel branch (F12), will be part of the next update for F9/10/11. nbd-2.9.12-1.fc9 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 9. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/nbd-2.9.12-1.fc9 nbd-2.9.12-1.fc10 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 10. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/nbd-2.9.12-1.fc10 nbd-2.9.12-1.fc11 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 11. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/nbd-2.9.12-1.fc11 nbd-2.9.12-1.fc10 has been pushed to the Fedora 10 testing repository. I wouldn't update the package just because of this one, the update resolves also bug 454099 and updates from 2.9.10 to 2.9.12 -- do you find this unjustified? I wanted to do this ASAP so that there is enough time for being in updates-testing before F9 will be EOLed. It has been broken with bug 454099 for YEARS now. It is not a serious problem at all. Anyhow, your choice... This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 11 development cycle. Changing version to '11'.
