Comment 2 Kostas Georgiou 2009-08-05 11:53:00 UTC
Not sure how to handle this beyond adding a Conflicts: firebird in the spec.

Comment 3 Michael Schwendt 2009-08-05 12:24:33 UTC
Then please contact the Fedora Packaging Committee to request approval for adding a "Conflicts: firebird": https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Conflicts

Comment 5 Bug Zapper 2010-11-04 11:12:38 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora 12 is nearing its end of life.
Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 12. It is Fedora's policy to close all
bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time
this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora
'version' of '12'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version'
to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 12's end of life.

Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that
we may not be able to fix it before Fedora 12 is end of life. If you
would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it
against a later version of Fedora please change the 'version' of this
bug to the applicable version. If you are unable to change the version,
please add a comment here and someone will do it for you.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

The process we are following is described here:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping

Comment 6 Fedora Admin XMLRPC Client 2012-01-18 11:25:48 UTC
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.

Comment 7 Terje Røsten 2013-01-06 13:01:31 UTC
Michael, agree to close this as firebird has renamed gstat to gstat-fb?

Comment 8 Michael Schwendt 2013-01-14 23:02:26 UTC
Currently, I here don't have the tool to recheck the conflict that has been found four years ago.

If you know the conflict has been resolved, why not simply close the ticket?

Comment 9 Terje Røsten 2013-04-03 18:01:18 UTC
Issue is resolved by renamed of firebird bin from gstat to gstat-fb.

Comment 10 Fedora End Of Life 2013-04-03 20:06:42 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle.
Changing version to '19'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.)
