=> firebird-2.1.3.18185.0-1.fc12.src.rpm => firebird-2.1.3.18185.0-1.fc12.i686 in rawhide-development-i386 File conflict with: ganglia-gmond-3.1.2-4.fc12.i686 /usr/bin/gstat
hum gstat in Firebird exists before ganglia exists
Not sure that whether we can fix this issue at all. Probably, closing with CANTFIX ?
In fact this bug is in Mandriva too for isql I renamed it as isql-fb to avoid conflict with the one from ODBC maybe Firebird package could rename gstat as gstat-fb under /usr/bin but Ganglia package could also do such move ;) gstat under Firebird (it was Groton Database System) exists even before Linux exist ...
For tracking purposes, I have this ticket explicitly marked to depend on bug 502392 (ganglia : Conflicts with firebird) for it not to be closed before either one fixes this conflict in accordance with Fedora's guidelines. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Conflicts
