Description Josh Bressers 2009-07-16 14:10:04 UTC
Mozilla developers and community members identified and fixed several
stability bugs in the browser engine used in Firefox and other
Mozilla-based products. Some of these crashes showed evidence of memory
corruption under certain circumstances and we presume that with enough
effort at least some of these could be exploited to run arbitrary code.

Christophe Charron reported a crash occuring when multiple RDF files were
loaded in a XUL tree element.

Comment 3 Jan Lieskovsky 2009-07-22 18:44:59 UTC
MITRE's CVE-2009-2464 entry:

The nsXULTemplateQueryProcessorRDF::CheckIsSeparator function in
Mozilla Firefox before 3.0.12, SeaMonkey 2.0a1pre, and Thunderbird
allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory
corruption and application crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code
via vectors related to loading multiple RDF files in a XUL tree
element.
