Description of problem:
No cursor appears in initial gui screen.  Have to hit return for next screen and wiggle the mouse for a cursor to appear.

12.5 (all 12.x series)

No cursor in initial screen.

Cursor in initial screen.  

Additional info:
This is just a nit.  It causes a moment of confusion and thinking mouse has not been recognized.

My system is one if three on a USB KVM and mouse is MS wireless wheel mouse.

This appears to be related to the lack of proper GTK theme that we're also seeing.

While it seems related, it isn't actually.  The fix for missing GTK theme did not actually fix the missing cursor.  Ajax and I tried to fix the missing cursor but could not as of yet.
