Description of problem: Screen goes black on and off, moving mouse sometimes helps

Ok, I think I see the issue here. I'll try to build a test kernel shortly.

I'm using this kernel (2.6.31-0.112.rc4.git3.fc12) on F11 and have X flashing all the time.

Am I doing something wrong, like missing half the Xorg updates from rawhide (I only updated the kernel for checking bug #514918, I didn't want to convert the while system to rawhide)?
