Description Jonathan Kamens 2009-08-02 23:59:23 UTC
There are a ton of references throughout dansguardian's config files etc. to /etc/dansguardian/lists, which apparently should actually say /usr/share/dansguardian/lists.

Comment 1 Daniel Drake 2009-08-03 09:52:55 UTC
I couldn't find such references (the spec file already fixes all the ones I can see with a sed) but you're right, some part of dansguardian is trying to read from /etc/dansguardian/lists and this is causing dansguardian startup to fail.

Comment 2 Felix Kaechele 2009-08-03 10:03:09 UTC
I confirm this. Because I don't use the contentfilters or downloadmanagers I never realized that they have references to the lists in their config files as well.
Will be fixed in the update I'll push later today.

Comment 3 Trevor Cordes 2009-08-18 00:13:21 UTC
First, nice to see dg in fedora now so I don't have to compile my own :-)

I just switched today and the rpms still have broken /etc/dansguardian/lists references all over the place. Many files in there have .Include directives that still reference the old (/etc) location.

I solved it by killing my old lists (etc) dir and making it a symlink to the new (share) location. Now it doesn't matter that it's broken.

Comment 4 Trevor Cordes 2009-08-18 00:31:45 UTC
Also, run rpm -qi dansguardian: de text got included somehow.
