Confirmed fedora 11 i386, get SIGNAL 8 when starting new game. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 12 development cycle. Changing version to '12'. More information and reason for this action is here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping This seems to be the same issue : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/prboom/+bug/375498 for me, I got src rpm and I did : make distclean && ./configure --disable-i386-asm && make which was the suggestion from the link above. it seems to have fixed the problem for me. I have Fedora 12. prboom-2.5.0-4.fc13 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 13. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/prboom-2.5.0-4.fc13 prboom-2.5.0-4.fc12 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 12. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/prboom-2.5.0-4.fc12 prboom-2.5.0-4.fc12 has been pushed to the Fedora 12 testing repository.
