Description of problem:
When I try to change the desktop wallpaper, while in the file selection dialog, I get the error message:

"The process for the file protocol died unexpectedly."

Even entering a filename directly fails.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right click on the desktop and select "Desktop Settings"
2. Select the file browse button next to the wallpaper dropdown.

Actual results:
A file selection dialog that can navigate the files ystem.

Expected results:
The specified error message.
