I could reproduce this with 0.99.39 on my Rawhide virtual machine. I found that SELinux wouldn't let the application attach to the system bus, which was likely due to some mislabelled files. After I relabelled the filesystem, I didn't get these errors anymore and the application worked correctly. confirmed no longer a problem in 0.99.39-1 :) thanks nils sorry to be a pest but it's re-surfaced, i've tried re-labelling with system-config-selinux but it's making no difference, only changes from working to not working are just updates, those which may have caused them are namely Sep 02 23:36:17 Updated: selinux-policy-3.6.30-1.fc12.noarch Sep 02 23:37:54 Updated: selinux-policy-targeted-3.6.30-1.fc12.noarch Sep 04 08:57:12 Updated: selinux-policy-3.6.30-2.fc12.noarch Sep 04 08:58:31 Updated: selinux-policy-targeted-3.6.30-2.fc12.noarch Sep 04 08:59:09 Installed: kernel-2.6.31-0.199.rc8.git2.fc12.i686 Sep 07 16:14:46 Installed: kernel-2.6.31-0.204.rc9.fc12.i686 any help you can offer is most welcome phil This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 12 development cycle.
