Description Dmitri A. Sergatskov 2009-09-07 05:32:25 UTC
Description of problem:

ATLAS provides drop-in optimized liblapack library. The library
is built against reference lapack which was broken
(see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=520518)
Now it has been fixed and lapack needs to get rebuilt against
the updated lapack library. This is probably also the case
for F-10 and rawhide.

Comment 1 Alex Lancaster 2009-09-07 05:41:26 UTC
I'm doing this myself now for rawhide in the interests of fixing bug #520518, I'll leave the F-10 and F-11 builds to the maintainer.

Actually I meant bug #510841, sorry.

Hi there Deji, we're considering pushing out an update of octave to 3.2.2 to F-11 which will need an atlas rebuilt against the fixed lapack, do you want to do it, or should I?

Hi Alex, please leave it for me. There are other enhancement to the atlas packaging that could go in at this time too.
