Description Chris Lalancette 2009-09-16 09:34:48 UTC
Description of problem:
RHEL-5 Xen domU currently supports the ability to passthrough a PCI device to a paravirtualized guest. While this isn't secure, it does have uses. Upstream LKML domU support does not currently support this mode. Should we port this over?

Comment 1 RHEL Program Management 2009-09-16 09:36:55 UTC

Comment 3 Pasi Karkkainen 2010-11-19 08:53:20 UTC
xen-pcifront support for PCI passthrough to PV domU is now included in the upstream 2.6.37 kernel.

It would be very welcome addition for the el6 kernel!
