Description Xavier Bachelot 2009-09-23 14:57:21 UTC
openvas-libraries are outdated. The rawhide version is 1.0.2. latest version in the 1.x serie is 1.0.4. Latest version is 2.0.4.

On a side note, only the libraries are packaged, none of the other pieces of the software are available. Also cvs shows little activity (only automated bumps and rebuilds). Is there any plan to introduce the whole stack into Fedora ? Is there any plan to push it to the 2.x serie ?

Comment 1 Bug Zapper 2009-11-16 12:49:03 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 12 development cycle.
Changing version to '12'.

Hi Huzaifa,

Thanks a lot for the update. Please take a look at the dependency tree for this bug, another packager already submitted review requests for the missing pieces of the openvas stack. I'm adding him to the CC: of this bug.

Comment 5 Huzaifa S. Sidhpurwala 2009-11-26 08:29:50 UTC
Yes i realised that.
Stejpan,
Do you mind if i co-maintain your openvas stack?
I intended to do it a long time back, but got stuck with some other work.

Comment 6 Stjepan Gros 2009-11-27 15:24:02 UTC
No, I don't have anything against co-maintaining this package(s). Actually, I think it's better to have more maintainers, especially as openvas is an important application.
