hello Ivana,
the format of the logrotate configuration file is described in detail in the logrotate's man page ("man logrotate")
is this OK for you, or do I need to split this man page into two? we (Red Hat) are also upstream for the package, so this would be no prob...
The standard solution is to have two man pages - one for the tool and one for the configuration file. Probably the less time consuming solution is to create a man page logrotate.conf.5 as a link to logrotate.8 man-page: put ".so man8/logrotate.8" to logrotate.conf.5 man page. There is a mention about logrotate man page in the config file and it seems to contains description itself, so the link seems sufficient for me. Created attachment 363005 [details]

fixed in logrotate-3.7.8-5.fc13 f12 build will follow after the devel freeze is over logrotate-3.7.8-5.fc12 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 12. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/logrotate-3.7.8-5.fc12 logrotate-3.7.8-5.fc12 has been pushed to the Fedora 12 testing repository.
