RHEL5 fix for bare-metal and xen
This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux maintenance release. Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update release for currently deployed products. Created attachment 362893 [details] Initial patch submitted by achiang and myself Description of problem: dzickus has noted that several patches now depend on smp_call_function_single() and smp_call_function_many(). In order to simplify the patches, I am going to create a single patch for these functions. The patches will the refer back to this patch. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.6.18-166.el5 Additional info: Patch is based on the one that I am working with for the MCE code, and that was submitted by achiang as part of his powernow driver update.
