Filed a bug report over at KDE. Initially reported under kmail. When the application interface is in English and text contains both RTL and LTR formatted text the text is not formatted correctly.

It would seem that the problem is a KRichTextEdit issue and it would seem that it is currently being worked on so I thought it might be a good idea to have the bug report at KDE tracked here at bugzilla as well.

There is a non working patch attached to the original KDE bug report and Diego Lastrubni is suggesting getting the Oxygen artists involved.

So I was also wondering how to proceed forward with this.

Hmm... based on comment #4, this is likely something fixed with qt rather than kde.  We'll have to see.
