I need to add that I had to disable libsndfile support of mscore (MuseScore) to make it build on F-10 and F-11. mscore needs libsndfile >=1.0.19. Disabling this made us lose important functionality. I too would like to have libsndfile updated in F-11, and if possible, in F-10. F11 and rawhide should be doable, F10 have to take a look. How long before EOL? roughly 65 days. Ping? Any progress? It shouldn't be too hard to copy things over from devel to F-11 in cvs. Andreas, could you approve my comaintainer requests on pkgdb? https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/packages/name/libsndfile I want to fix this bug and others. libsndfile-1.0.20-3.fc11 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 11. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/libsndfile-1.0.20-3.fc11 libsndfile-1.0.20-3.fc10 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 10. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/libsndfile-1.0.20-3.fc10 As per the discussion in the devel list, I updated this package myself. Sorry, we couldn't wait any longer. I also fixed some other bugs that were filed against libsndfile. e.g. Bug 488362 Bug 515172 Bug 524507 + some packaging issues libsndfile-1.0.20-3.fc10 has been pushed to the Fedora 10 testing repository.
