Description Paul W. Frields 2009-10-15 19:12:24 UTC
paprefs-0.9.9-4.fc12.x86_64

The paprefs tool doesn't work properly with PackageKit's installation feature, because it is looking for an older version (0.9.16) of PulseAudio libs. If it were rebuilt against current libs and a tag request made, this should work again in Rawhide and the F12 GA.

This new feature in the F12 utility is a really smashing way for people to be able to install awesome PA server support so I'd love to see it in F12. I use this feature set at home to route my audio, and I love it.

(By the way, paman might stand a rebuild, although it doesn't seem to have any problems per se, maybe because of general API stability? Anyway, I didn't bother to file a bug about it but can if helpful.)

paman is kinda obsolete. It continues to work, but didn't get updates from upstream, so a rebuild isn't really necessary,
