/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/lib64/libmodbc.so.0 is not a symbolic link

I don't think there's much more to say.
I've seen this problem on EL-5 and also reproduced it on a F9 machine.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 460900 ***

Comment 2 Michael Schwendt 2009-11-18 09:27:10 UTC
EPEL doesn't inherit from Fedora via upgrades, so it's better to keep this ticket open until somebody prepares an update for EPEL.

Comment 3 Oliver Falk 2009-11-18 09:43:52 UTC
I know EPEL updates don't come from Fedora... :-P

However. Who is going to do the update? And when?

If you hand be a beer, I can do it now. Otherwise, it will wait until this evening.

Comment 5 Fedora End Of Life 2017-04-06 10:36:56 UTC
Fedora EPEL 5 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2017-03-31. Fedora EPEL 5
is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further
security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora
or Fedora EPEL, please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If
you are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the current
release. If you experience problems, please add a comment to this bug.

Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
