Verified this with kvm-83-105.el5_4.10 in intel host, this problem does not exist.

# uname -r
2.6.18-164.6.1.el5
# rpm -q kvm

4) -cpu qemu64,+sse2     : -pass  
5) -cpu pentium3         : -pass
