Description of problem:
I installed syncevolution to test it.

But running it is not possible:
[fm@thinkpad ~]$ syncevolution --template ?
syncevolution: error while loading shared libraries: libsyncevolution.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

The libs are placed at the following location:
[fm@thinkpad ~]$ rpm -ql syncevolution | grep libsyncevolution.so.0
/usr/lib/syncevolution/libsyncevolution.so.0
/usr/lib/syncevolution/libsyncevolution.so.0.0.0

Setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH I am able to start syncevolution
[fm@thinkpad ~]$ LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/syncevolution/ syncevolution --template ?
Available configuration templates:

   Google = http://m.google.com/sync
   Memotoo = http://www.memotoo.com

1. yum install syncevolution

Actual results:
syncevolution: error while loading shared libraries: libsyncevolution.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Expected results:
successfull start of syncevolution

Could reproduce this issue here with syncevolution-0.9-1.fc11.x86_64. Unfortunately did not found out what the reason for this behaviour is. I'll keep an eye on this issue and will have another look next week after OpenRheinRuhr.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 12 development cycle.
Changing version to '12'.

Fixed in syncevolution-0.9.2+1.0alpha1-1.fc13 in rawhide. Will push to F-12 once stable.

read the bug report. Its fixed in rawhide... ie F-13. Once there is a new stable release I will push the fix to the stable Fedora release.
