Could reproduce this issue here with syncevolution-0.9-1.fc11.x86_64. Unfortunately did not found out what the reason for this behaviour is. I'll keep an eye on this issue and will have another look next week after OpenRheinRuhr.
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 12 development cycle. Changing version to '12'. More information and reason for this action is here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping
Fixed in syncevolution-0.9.2+1.0alpha1-1.fc13 in rawhide. Will push to F-12 once stable.
bug is still there in: Name : syncevolution Arch : i686 Version : 0.9 Release : 3.fc12 Size : 4.4 M Repo : installed From repo : updates
(In reply to comment #4) > bug is still there in: read the bug report. Its fixed in rawhide... ie F-13. Once there is a new stable release I will push the fix to the stable Fedora release.
