Seems to have the same problem for me. With a HD4850 too. Tested from the F12-LiveCD-KDE x86_64 There is some "graphical" bugs (random square appears around the "object" : icons, desktop folder, etc.) Same problem with my HD 2900 XT. As well as lines appearing after resizing or moving a window. Could we get /var/log/Xorg.0.log attached to this bug as a separate uncompressed attachment from the run without nomodeset on the kernel command line (actually I don't we care about mesa-drivers-experimental for this log), please? This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 12 development cycle. Changing version to '12'.
