Description Matthew Miller 2009-11-19 11:49:55 UTC
As we've all learned by now, PolicyKit keeps vital system config files in
/var/lib/polkit-1/localauthority.

This is not an appropriate location for these files by the FHS and therefore by Fedora policy:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Guidelines#Filesystem_Layout

These files should be moved to /etc; it seems like /etc/security/polkit would be a good choice (particularly since it mirrors the older/existing consolehelper config directory, /etc/security/console.apps).

Thanks.
