*** Bug 539391 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Under what conditions did these crashes occur? I get the same crash. It immediately crashes when I try to add it to the panel. I can reproduce it over and over the same way. Yes, as per the above, I just attempt to add it to the panel and it crashes. *** Bug 542523 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 541929 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 542469 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 541552 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I see this as well, and am working on it. *** Bug 547185 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I tried updating to the cvs checkout from today, and they've upstreamed some of our patches, but it still dies with the same errors in the coredump. Might this possibly be a glibc bug? Pardon my ignorance in advance if I'm off base. CCing glibc maintainer. *** Bug 549211 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 550219 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 553588 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Any progress on fixing this bug? None on my end, hoping to hear re: glibc. (In reply to comment #17) > None on my end, hoping to hear re: glibc. Why should this have anything to do with glibc? Because the crash is in strcmp? It's *highly* unlikely there is a problem in strcmp, it's used in every single app out there. It is almost certain that the problem is an invalid pointer or two or unterminated strungs etc. It wasn't so much that I suspected glibc, it's that I wanted to rule it out, which was why I sought your input. You said almost exactly what I thought you'd say, and gave me a general direction in which to shine my flashlight. Thank you! :) *** Bug 557582 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 559294 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 569913 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** glunarclock-0.34.1-1.fc13 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 13. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/glunarclock-0.34.1-1.fc13 glunarclock-0.34.1-1.fc12 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 12. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/glunarclock-0.34.1-1.fc12 This is also fixed in rawhide.
