Description Bernd Bartmann 2009-12-04 21:00:04 UTC
Description of problem:
My EEEPC 1000H has a Ralink WLAN card (rt2860 module from rpmfusion). Under F12 its impossible to connect to a WLAN with a hidden SSID.

On the same EEEPC with Ubuntu 9.10 I can connect to the hidden WLAN without any problem.

the kernel modules in rpmfusion aren't really supported. The rt2860 has a number of issues. There is a new upstream driver for these cards in mainline kernel now, and while they themselves have issues they are in Fedora 13. The 570869 bug is where to follow developments with this driver.
