kdebase4 does not exist anymore (as KDE 4 is the default and has been since Fedora 9). Valid components are kdebase, kdebase-runtime and kdebase-workspace. KDM is in kdebase-workspace. This issue sounds related to bug 506171. In any case, I think we shouldn't close this one as a duplicate as bug 506171 ended up as a mix of several different issues, some no longer reproducible.
