Description Matthew Farrellee 2009-12-14 15:26:20 UTC
Description of problem:

Condor is entirely compiled without -O2

Some upstream testing has shown benefits from -O2

Currently, standard universe tests fail to compile with -O2, related to fstat sizing (see upstream build id 202181)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Through at least 7.4.1-0.7.1

Comment 1 Matthew Farrellee 2010-01-04 18:17:43 UTC
Fixed in 7.4.2-0.1

Comment 2 Luigi Toscano 2010-04-12 16:58:10 UTC
The -O2 parameter is specified in the spec file and actually used (rpm -q --queryformat="%{OPTFLAGS}\n" condor).
Verified on:
- RHEL4.8, i386/x86_64, condor 7.4.3-0.5
- RHEL5.5, i386/x86_64, condor 7.4.3-0.8
