Comment: Pidgin was autostarting, and hadn't got very far into the procedure (i.e. no IRC windows had come up, and the icon hadn't appeared).

Sorry It's not really a duplicate bug but the patch are conflicting with bug #547078
Philip can you confirm I just have to remove the line:
*end = '\0';

And do you have a git url of the patch submited in upstream?

Itamar I can't push to updates-testing for F-13/Devel is it because you make the build in koji? So if I'm not the owner I'm not able to push it in bodhi?

purple-msn-pecan-0.1.0-0.3.rc1.fc12 has been pushed to the Fedora 12 stable repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
