Description Tim Taiwanese Liim 2010-01-24 02:57:16 UTC
Description of problem:
In openoffice calc, the user can "Insert Note" to a cell. The Notes
is displayed and edited all right. But the Note is NOT saved in ods
format: close and reopen the ods file, and the Note is gone. When
saving the same file in .xls format, the Note survives the close and
    open.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
    openoffice.org-brand-3.1.1-19.14.fc12.x86_64

How reproducible:
    always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.create a new spreadsheet in openoffice.
2.Select a cell, right-click, "Insert Note", type in some note.
    3.save the file as x.ods.
    4.close file, open x.ods.

Actual results:
the note inserted in step 2 is gone.

Expected results:
the note inserted in step 2 should stay after opening x.ods.

Additional info:
Saving the file in xls format and the note remains across close+open.
