Apologies, I actually did the back port some time ago but must have been side tracked and didn't get to build a test package. In any case there was a mistake in the Conflicts tag which has been fixed (this revision we requires cyrus-sasl-lib >= 2.1.22-5.el5_4.3). A build with the above patch is available at: http://people.redhat.com/~ikent/autofs-5.0.1-0.rc2.142.bz563956.2.el5 Please test this and report the result. This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Because the affected component is not scheduled to be updated in the current release, Red Hat is unfortunately unable to address this request at this time. This bug is verified by autotest(https://beaker.engineering.redhat.com/jobs/81494), which uses testcase(/CoreOS/autofs/bugzillas/bz563956) and distro(RHEL5.7-Server-20110504.0.n).
