Description Xixi 2010-02-11 22:50:40 UTC
Description of problem:
Customer is unable to download incremental cds to update their satellite. For example, navigating to:
https://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/software/channel/downloads/Download.do?cid=9718
Shows "Missing file" instead of downloadable links for incremental channel isos.

I spot-checked a few other Satellite channels and it appears all sat 5.3 channel incrementals are missing -

https://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/software/channel/downloads/Download.do?cid=9716
Red Hat Network Satellite (v5.3 for Server v5 s390x)

https://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/software/channel/downloads/Download.do?cid=9716
Red Hat Network Satellite (v5.3 for Server v5 x86)

https://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/software/channel/downloads/Download.do?cid=9718
Red Hat Network Satellite (v5.3 for Server v5 AMD64 / Intel64)

Satellite 5.1 and 5.2 channels are fine.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Red Hat Network (RHN) Satellite 5.3.0

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. navigate to Satellite 5.3 channels (see above) on RHN Hosted
2. expand all under "View Incremental Channel Content ISOs for Satellite"

Actual results:
"Missing file" where the download links should be

Expected results:
Download links to isos

Comment 1 Milan Zázrivec 2010-02-17 08:43:10 UTC
This turned out to be an infrastructural problem, which was discussed
and resolved internally.

For the record, the cause of the problem (to quote Grant Gainey) was:

    https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=511170

Basically, a bug in NetApp caused NFS-mounted directories to show as
empty, even tho they actually aren't.

I'm closing this. Reopen, in case the problem hits us again.
