Description Dennis Jacobfeuerborn 2010-02-12 23:31:25 UTC
I'm trying to build a live-cd in a rawhide VM. livecd-creator downloads the primary.sqlite.bz2 file and then aborts with the following strange error:

Error creating Live CD: Unable to download from repo: database is locked

What is this supposed to tell me? Is this some problem on the remote site or something I have to fix locally?
livecd-creator should be more clear about what the actual problem is so the user can take appropriate action.

Comment 1 Bug Zapper 2010-03-15 14:32:45 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 13 development cycle.
Changing version to '13'.

This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.

Comment 3 Jasper O'neal Hartline 2010-08-04 17:37:08 UTC
Can you reproduce the issue with the latest livecd-tools?

I think that message is from yum or rpm and references the rpm database.

Not sure what the problem you were running into was, but building a minimal livecd from rawhide is currently working.
