Description bfunderburg 1999-10-06 18:07:50 UTC
after running rpm -Fvh to upgrade Eterm-0.8.9 to the version
shipped in PowerTools 6.1 (dowloaded from ftp.cdrom.com
mirror) Eterm failed to start.
Symlinking from libEterm.so.0 -> libEterm.so.0.8.9 and
libmej.so.0 -> libmej.so.0 corrected the problem

You also need to include a symlink from pixmaps.list ->
../../pixmaps/pixmaps.list in each of the theme directories
(Eterm, chooser, emacs, etc) located in
/usr/share/Eterm/themes to get Eterm to correctly load the
background images at startup.
There's also another error occurring at startup that I've
never seen before 'can't parse tty name "pts/1"' don't know
anything about this though.

This will be fixed in a future errata. We will also fix the problem with UTMP
and Eterm in the errata update. The errata for this should be out in a week.
