Description of problem:

After installing Fedora 12 using the DVD media created from the iso image downloaded from mirror site - we attempted to install software updates and we received following errors. Error indicate that please report this bug to the Fedora bug reporting system.

looks like an issue with a repo being down.

is this still an issue?

It's odd that the repository that would be "down" is named "installed".

This actually looks like Bug 541645; one of the duplicates recommends a simple workaround: run "yum update PackageKit" as root, then reboot.
