Could you please show me the output of this?: su -c 'lpinfo --include-schemes=usb -l -v' | grep device-id It's because I also need to see the CMD field, not just the MFG and MDL fields. I've updated the check-device-ids.py script to do that in future. # su -c 'lpinfo --include-schemes=usb -l -v' | grep device-id

Fixed in foomatic-4.0-11.20100204.fc13 for the PPDs. The XML data will be fixed next time foomatic is rebuilt so will be foomatic-4.0.4-3.fc13. Sorry, should be: foomatic-4.0.4-5.fc13. Thank you, Tim.
Will wait for foomatic rebuilt to test automatic driver installation with this
printer.
With new foomatic-db-4.0-11.20100204.fc13 and not rebuilt

Committed upstream (2010-03-19). foomatic-db-4.0-13.20100204.fc13 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 13. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/foomatic-db-4.0-13.20100204.fc13 foomatic-db-4.0-13.20100204.fc13 has been pushed to the Fedora 13 testing repository.
