Description of problem:
Multiple notifications sent when cancelling task.
14 times per job 180, but have seen higher numbers.
33 times per job 189.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
0.5.18

How reproducible:
Once upon a time...

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Looks like I was not patient enough and pressed the cancel button twice, but even this is not 100% reproducer. Anything in log?

single notification email sent out.

Expected results:
multitude of emails sent.
