Description Hicham HAOUARI 2010-04-13 13:37:51 UTC
Description of problem:
kernel-2.6.33.1-26.fc13.i686 and up fails to boot due to an acpi issue, putting acpi=off in kernel commandline makes it bootable (but of course, who will use a laptop without acpi ?)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-2.6.33.1-26.fc13.i686

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Have an Asus A6VA Laptop ?
2.Install kernel-2.6.33.1-26.fc13.i686
3.Reboot

Actual results:
Hang with a backtrace that I can't post since I don't have a camera (no flashings lights -> not a kernel panic ?)

Expected results:
Normal boot

Additional info:
kernel-2.6.33.1-24.fc13.i686 works fine
