This issue has been proposed when we are only considering blocker
issues in the current Red Hat Enterprise Linux release. It has
been denied for the current Red Hat Enterprise Linux release.

** If you would still like this issue considered for the current
release, ask your support representative to file as a blocker on
your behalf. Otherwise ask that it be considered for the next
Red Hat Enterprise Linux release. **

Hmm, I reproduced calling /usr/libexec/qemu-kvm manually with a very basic command line. But once I clicked 'OK' in the dialog in your screen shot, the install seemed to continue as usual.

Neil, is that the case for you as well when reproduced with virt-manager?

Comment 8 Nan Zhang 2010-12-03 09:56:22 UTC
Cole,

Yes, I met the same case with you, it can be reproduced on both qemu-kvm command & virt-manager. Maybe it's not virt-manager issue, but why is there a missing package error dialog?

Comment 9 Cole Robinson 2010-12-03 15:36:15 UTC
Reassigning to kvm

Comment 10 Dor Laor 2011-02-02 14:16:14 UTC
Have you change CDs using the monitor command?

Comment 11 Nan Zhang 2011-02-16 08:36:55 UTC
Dor,

Yes, I changed CDs using monitor command, and got the same results with virt-manager.

I've retested with the following builds on my side, it works well now. I think this bug has been fixed yet.

qemu-kvm-0.12.1.2-2.162.el6.x86_64
libvirt-0.9.1-1.el6.x86_64
virt-manager-0.8.6-4.el6.noarch
