Description Frederic Riss 2010-08-18 14:47:39 UTC
Summary:

SELinux is preventing /usr/sbin/rpc.gssd "getattr" access on
/tmp/krb5cc_510_8YfbKD.

Detailed Description:

SELinux denied access requested by rpc.gssd. It is not expected that this access
is required by rpc.gssd and this access may signal an intrusion attempt. It is
also possible that the specific version or configuration of the application is
causing it to require additional access.

Allowing Access:

You can generate a local policy module to allow this access - see FAQ
(http://docs.fedoraproject.org/selinux-faq-fc5/#id2961385) Please file a bug
report.

Comment 1 Frederic Riss 2010-08-19 06:47:11 UTC
This happens each time I log in. Our setup uses Kerberos 5 + LDAP for authentification and NFSv4 for home dirs (although I don't think NFS matters for the issue at hand).

Comment 2 Frederic Riss 2010-08-19 08:38:50 UTC
Nevermind, I tweaked the booleans to allow gssd to read /tmp and this disappeared.

Comment 3 Miroslav Grepl 2010-08-19 09:29:07 UTC
Looks like you have partially updated system. Probably you need to complete upgrade.
