Description Peter Bieringer 2002-04-05 18:11:24 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.78 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.4.17-0.18 i686)

Description of problem:
Unlike rawhide kernel 2.4.17-0.18, skipjack 2.4.18-0.4 causes same problems
like older RHL 2.4.9 or 2.4.13 kernels on my laptop. It's a Toshiba satellite
pro with Intel NIC on board.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Boot kernel, use network...

Actual Results: After short time, interface cannot send data anymore, kernel
message "eepro100: wait_for_cmd_done timeout!"

Additional info:

Looks like 2.4.18-0.4 contains other eepro100 sources than 2.4.17-0.18, also the
sound module i810_audio has more problems on this kernel
