Description of problem:
After upgrading to kernel 2.6.34.6-47.fc13.x86-64, pulseaudio crashes after a second with

pulseaudio-0.9.21-6.fc13.x86_64

reverting to kernel 2.6.33.8-149.fc13.x86_64 fixes the problem.

I have been able to get pulseaudio to start a couple times, but it usually fails and I'm not sure what is different when it works.

If PulseAudio got killed, there should be something more in the system log about the reason for that.

The only thing I get in /var/log/messages are the bits I pasted into comment 0

I've got the same issue, manually updating alsa-drivers to 1.0.23 solved the problem

I'm seeing the same messages after a clean F13 install and updating.

The graphical pointer lags severely.
The gnome volume control applet disappears briefly from the panel every few seconds.

.xsession-errors is slowly filling with these:

The problem does not occur with kernel-2.6.33.3-85.fc13.x86_64, which shipped with the F13 DVD.

FWIW, I no longer see this bug after upgrading to F14 with kernel-2.6.35.6-48.fc14.x86_64.  I was still seeing this with F13 (kernel-2.6.34.7-61.fc13.x86_64)

This message is a reminder that Fedora 13 is nearing its end of life.
Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 13.  It is Fedora's policy to close all
bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained.  At that time
this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 
'version' of '13'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' 
to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 13's end of life.
