Hmm, the log you posted appears to be truncated? As I said at the bottom of my post, that log was from the time I installed the 2.6.34 kernel, to the time I restarted and brought the computer up with the 2.6.33 kernel. Have you tried booting non-PAE kernels, just to discard if the problem relates directly to the nouveau driver or it's the interaction between the kernel and the driver. As you specified, kernel 2.6.34 PAE is the one presenting the issue. However, could you also attach the Xorg log file please? I tried installing the non-PAE kernel, with the same results: A locked up laptop with the same message: [drm] nouveau 0000:03:00.0 gpio tag 0xff not found [drm] nouveau 0000:03:00.0 gpio tag 0xff not found Trying to ssh into the laptop failed, the OS is totally locked, I am also seeing the caps-lock key flashing. I'm attaching a copy of the most recent Xorg.0.log, although there is no 2.6.34 listing in the log. Created attachment 446675 [details]

Thanks for the attachments, the bug will be reviewed soon. I get those same nouveau boot messages, but system boots (hangs later with VLC / playing MPEG-2 within 15 to 45 min --- 02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation C77 [GeForce 8200] (rev a2) 03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G98 [GeForce 8400 GS] (rev a1) --- Now that debugging has been disabled in the 2.6.35 F14 kernel, I installed the most recent one, and it's working fine. I guess I'll just let the 2.6.34 kernel pass this laptop by. Maybe I'll search down the changelog for the 2.6.35 kernel and see if the dual video card was one of the problems that got fixed.

Description of problem: Lockup during boot. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kernel-PAE-2.6.34.6-54.fc13.i686 How reproducible: Boot the computer. Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Boot stops with 2 lines appearing on screen. [drm] nouveau 0000:03:00.0 gpio tag 0xff not found [drm] nouveau 0000:03:00.0 gpio tag 0xff not found Expected results: Additional info: I started with the yum upgrade to the 2.6.34.6-47 kernel, which locked up due to the pci=nocrs problem. I tried the 2.6.34.6-52 kernel from koji which fixed the pci=nocrs problem but boot continues to lock with the 2 [drm] lines listed above. Tonight I tried the 2.6.34.6-54 kernel with the same results. There is no wacom tablet attached to this laptop as I've read about in other bugs. The laptop is a Dell XPS 13 and the one difference between this computer and the other 5 I have running F13 is that this machine has dual video cards. Fact is, until this point F13 has run flawlessly on this laptop.
