Description Frank Ybanez 2010-09-22 00:23:24 UTC
Summary:

SELinux is preventing /usr/bin/perl "ioctl" access on
/usr/share/perl5/NOCpulse/Object.pm.

Detailed Description:

[SELinux is in permissive mode. This access was not denied.]

SELinux denied access requested by Monitoring. It is not expected that this
access is required by Monitoring and this access may signal an intrusion
attempt. It is also possible that the specific version or configuration of the
application is causing it to require additional access.

Allowing Access:

You can generate a local policy module to allow this access - see FAQ
(http://docs.fedoraproject.org/selinux-faq-fc5/#id2961385) Please file a bug
report.

Comment 2 Miroslav Grepl 2010-09-22 14:49:22 UTC
spacewalk_monitoring_t needs

files_read_usr_files(spacewalk_monitoring_t)

Comment 3 Jan Pazdziora (Red Hat) 2010-10-27 08:32:12 UTC
Mass-aligning under space12, so that we don't lose track of this bugzilla. This however does not mean that we plan (will be able to) address this bug in Spacewalk 1.2.

Comment 4 Jan Pazdziora (Red Hat) 2010-10-27 13:12:56 UTC
This issue was addressed in bug 619014.
