Package: hamster-applet-2.31.91-1.fc14 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) How to reproduce ----- 1. clicked the "Stop Tracking" button on an activity 2. 3. Package: hamster-applet-2.31.91-1.fc14 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) How to reproduce ----- 1. Started Tracking 2. Clicked "Stop Tracking" Comment ----- This happens every time. I have a workaound to set my timetracking to "nothing", which is a little annoying. Could you try out the build of 2.32.0 found here: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=197287 2.32.0 fixes this issue. Feel free to close this bug. 2.32.0 fixes the crash, but doesn't fix the issue - that is the "Stop Tracking" button doesn't work. You have to uncheck the "in progress" checkbox to stop tracking. Package: hamster-applet-2.32.0-1.fc14 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) How to reproduce ----- 1. clicked the "Stop Tracking" button 2. 3. okay, I am still getting the crashes, and the crash under comment #8 was with: hamster-applet-2.32.0-1.fc14.noarch Package: hamster-applet-2.31.91-1.fc14 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) How to reproduce ----- 1. Run activity for 1,5h 2. Click "Stop tracking" 3. Crash Comment ----- See above Package: hamster-applet-2.31.91-1.fc14 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) How to reproduce ----- 1. Try to delete a task in the preferences 2. 3. Package: hamster-applet-2.31.91-1.fc14 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) How to reproduce ----- 1. Started a 'task' by using the applet. 2. Performed task for ~15minutes. 3. Stop the task by using the applet and clicking 'Stop Tracking'. Package: hamster-applet-2.31.91-1.fc14 Architecture: i686 OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) How to reproduce ----- 1. Hamster Applet does not start as applet anymore in Fedora 14. Start it as stand alone application. 2. Start tracking time of an activity. 3. Click on 'Stop Tracking' button Comment ----- In my new Fedora 14, Hamster Applet is disappeared as an Applet, and is not shown in applet list. This is the most important bug to resolve. Fedora 14 Kernel 2.6.35.6-48 Gnome 2.32.0 (In reply to comment #13) > Package: hamster-applet-2.31.91-1.fc14 > Architecture: i686 > OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) > > > How to reproduce > ----- > 1. Hamster Applet does not start as applet anymore in Fedora 14. Start it as > stand alone application. I had this problem on a couple of my F14 boxes after upgrade - manually upgrading to 2.32.0: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=197287 fixed that issue - at least for me. Note that the crash reported in this bug report still exists in 2.32.0. Not sure why 2.32.0 hasn't made it into updates (or updates-testing). Nor is 2.32.0 showing up in bodhi. > I had this problem on a couple of my F14 boxes after upgrade - manually

Thank you, Chad. If this is the case, I'll wait for an official update. Maybe both these issues could be fixed.
I hope these issues be fixed ASAP. I use Hamster a lot, it's a great tool.
Package: hamster-applet-2.31.91-1.fc14 Architecture: i686 OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) How to reproduce ----- It just crashed without any obvious reason Package: hamster-applet-2.31.91-1.fc14 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) Comment ----- I clicked on "Stop Tracking" button. Bug has been reported upstream here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=633103. Looks like this is fixed in upstream[1]. 1: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=633103#c8 -- Fedora Bugzappers volunteer triage team https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers Package: hamster-applet-2.31.91-1.fc14 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) How to reproduce ----- 1. When I click the 'Stop tracking' button. 2. 3. Package: hamster-applet-2.31.91-1.fc14 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) How to reproduce ----- 1. In Hamster go to Edit > Preferences 2. Select "Categories and Tags" Tab 3. Click "+" to add new category, give it a name and press Enter Always reproducible Comment ----- Running it inside Gnome Shell on Fedora 14 (64 bit). By the way, Hamster also experiences intermittent crashes without doing anything. At least Fedora's ABRT tool reports so. Usually the problem report mentions SQLite. Package: hamster-applet-2.31.91-1.fc14 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) How to reproduce ----- 1. Try to stop the running task. Package: hamster-applet-2.32.0-1.fc14 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) How to reproduce ----- 1. Press "Stop tracking" 2. 3. Comment ----- I still have problem with 2.32.0 version :-( No, I'd say, you don't need to do anything. In my case, it crashes all on its own. It seems, but I am not yet sure, that it crashes when a reminder comes up while a screensaver is running. Package: hamster-applet-2.32.0-2.fc14 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) How to reproduce ----- 1. Started an activity 2. Clicked "stop tracking" button Upstream bug https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=633103 hamster-applet-2.32.0-3.fc14 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 14. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/hamster-applet-2.32.0-3.fc14 hamster-applet-2.32.0-3.fc14 has been pushed to the Fedora 14 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. I had a crash and ABRT reported this issue here as the same. As it's closed, my report was not added automatically (I'm running Fedora 14/Time Tracker 2.32.0). 1. Had Main Window Open 2. Added a Previous Task (Dialog not yet closed) 3. Opened Overview Window 4. Saved the Previous Task (Pressed the Save Button in Dialog, Dialog did not close) |
