abrt version: 1.1.13 architecture: i686 Attached file: backtrace cmdline: python /usr/bin/hamster-time-tracker component: hamster-applet executable: /usr/bin/hamster-time-tracker kernel: 2.6.35.4-28.fc14.i686 package: hamster-applet-2.31.91-1.fc14 reason: connection.py:630:call_blocking:DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Python.sqlite3.ProgrammingError: Traceback (most recent call last): release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) time: 1286437963 uid: 500 comment ----- As stated above, I started Hamster and entered the name of the activity, Telephone@work and then pressed Start to track the time spent on this activity. When the call ended I pressed Stop tracking and that brought up the crash screen. Also the predefined activities are read-only which I assume is a bug. I can not change their names, remove any predefined activity or category. I also miss the possibility to add Hamster as a program on the Panel like in Fedora 13. Now it works only as a standalone application. How to reproduce ----- 1. I opened Hamster to start tracking my calls 2. Entered the name of the activity which is telephone@work 3. I pressed Start 4. When the call ended I pressed Stop tracking and that brought up the crash info.

Could you try out the build of 2.32.0 found here: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=197287
2.32.0 fixes this issue. Feel free to close this bug.
2.32.0 fixes the crash, but doesn't fix the issue - that is the "Stop Tracking" button doesn't work. You have to uncheck the "in progress" checkbox to stop tracking.

Start it as stand alone application. 2. Start tracking time of an activity. 3. Hamster Applet does not start as applet anymore in Fedora 14. Start it as > stand alone application. I had this problem on a couple of my F14 boxes after upgrade - manually upgrading to 2.32.0: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=197287 fixed that issue - at least for me. Note that the crash reported in this bug report still exists in 2.32.0. Not sure why 2.32.0 hasn't made it into updates (or updates-testing). Nor is 2.32.0 showing up in bodhi.

Note that the crash reported in this bug > report still exists in 2.32.0. Thank you, Chad. If this is the case, I'll wait for an official update. Maybe both these issues could be fixed. I hope these issues be fixed ASAP. I use Hamster a lot, it's a great tool.

No, I'd say, you don't need to do anything. In my case, it crashes all on its own. It seems, but I am not yet sure, that it crashes when a reminder comes up while a screensaver is running.

hamster-applet-2.32.0-3.fc14 has been pushed to the Fedora 14 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
I had a crash and ABRT reported this issue here as the same. As it's closed, my report was not added automatically (I'm running Fedora 14/Time Tracker 2.32.0). 1. Had Main Window Open 2. Added a Previous Task (Dialog not yet closed) 3. Opened Overview Window 4. Saved the Previous Task (Pressed the Save Button in Dialog, Dialog did not close)
