The ip6tables init script does not have a check for ipv6. Therefore it is complaining because netfilter-v6 fails to initialize. This is some kind of cosmetics, because there is no damage and ipv6 is not in use. If you disable ipv6 you can also disable the ip6tables service. This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Because the affected component is not scheduled to be updated in the current release, Red Hat is unfortunately unable to address this request at this time.
