Created attachment 458936 [details] NetworkManager responds to cable disconnect and reconnect Description of problem: Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kde-plasma-networkmanagement 1:0.9-0.28.20101011.fc14 knetworkmanager-libs1:0.9-0.28.20101011.fc14 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1.login to kde desktop, network working fine 2. 3. Actual results: Applet reports that the cable is unplugged Expected results: Applet should show a connection Additional info:When attempting to edit the connection to change from the default DHCP to static the configuration files were not actually altered. No errors were reported. nm-tool reports correct status. nm-connection-editor can alter the configuration. It would seem that the NetworkManager backend is working properly.
